People & Religion: Buddhism is recognized at the official religion in Bhutan. Three-fourth of the country's population follows Vajrayana Buddhism. Other religions are followed in the minority such as Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, and Bon. There is a restriction on the construction of non-Buddhist religious structures in the country.
What to Wear: When visiting Bhutan, wear comfortable casual clothes. Also, keep sturdy footwear with a good grip as you will be travelling through rugged country. Carry some warm clothing as some areas of Bhutan at higher altitudes can get cold.
