Langtang Valley Trek (10 Days)
On this trek, we start our trip in the lower Langtang valley. We trek through forests, villages, and farmlands and meet local people, many of whom are of Tibetan origin. This place was once an important trading route with Tibet. You can see this influence reflected in the character of the villages and the people. During a part of the trek, you will be walking through the National Park. Though wildlife is never easy to spot in a forest setting, there are chances of seeing exotic animals and birds. Among those found are monkeys, Musk deer, Pika, and Nepal's national bird, the colorful Danphe. From Langtang village, the trek continues to Kyangjin Gompa (3740 m). This is the site of the Yala Cheese factory.
